  I spent just over a week in Copper Harbor, riding the incredible MTB trails. Some of these trails are accessible via the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge parking lot and other areas. In addition to being a great place to start your ride, the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge will sell you a hot shower for only $5!
  
  They do not advertise this service but, Sam from the Keweenaw Adventure Company told me about their showers after I told him I had been washing up in Lake Superior after rides. Since I was camping, I figured bathing in the Lake Superior with biodegradable soap was my only option. Normally, I wouldn’t mind but Lake Superior was only 55-60 degrees and being from Florida, it was super cold!
  
  The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge’s shower service is well worth the price. You will need your own towel and soap/shampoo but, the shower area is large and private. Now, you will need to be patient and ask at the desk about the shower, not many people know that they sell showers so, you may need to wait until the desk person talks to the manager.
  
  All in all, I highly recommend the shower service at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge.
